Frequently asked questions
How much money is needed to go to Japan for study from Bangladesh?
About 9–11 lakh BDT for the first year of a language school, including tuition, admission, application fees, dormitory deposit, the Japanese course in Bangladesh, translation and visa fees, and the institute's service charge. Add 60,000–90,000 BDT for the air ticket.
Is the tuition fee paid to the agency or the school?
To the school, after the COE is issued, against the school's own invoice. An agency should only receive its own service charge and any course fees for classes it actually teaches.
How much is the second year?
Only the school's tuition, usually 5–6.5 lakh BDT, because there are no application, translation or visa costs again. Many students cover part of it with savings from part-time work and school scholarships.
Can I study in Japan for free?
Only through a full scholarship such as MEXT (Japanese government), which covers tuition, a monthly stipend and airfare but is highly competitive and requires strong academics. For most students the realistic plan is self-funded language school plus part-time work and partial scholarships later.
What happens to my money if the visa is refused?
Most schools refund tuition (minus the admission/screening fee) if the visa is refused — check the school's refund clause before paying. Embassy fees are non-refundable. Inochi's service-charge refund terms are written into the service agreement before any payment.
